It is now nearly a year since Roberta and I purchased North Star and we still haven’t spent a night on it. All of the time has been spent on a freighter (the boat came all the way from Sweden to the Seattle area) or in a shipyard. This video marks a major milestone. All of the refit is complete and the boat is back in the water. We now have a couple of weeks of sea trial and then the boat should be ready for action. In this video we see the process of splashing the boat, the first test of the new electric stabilizers, putting the hot tub into its final location, and then I (Ken Williams) go off-topic during the back third of the video to ponder the impact AI is having on our future.
