I’m now in Cabo. I was on the boat briefly today, to see if I could get shore power going. I couldn’t. I did write to Atlas, but I don’t expect a response until after New Years. A lot of companies take the week between Christmas and New Years off. The technician gave me his cell phone before leaving town, and told me to call anytime — but, I really don’t want to bug him in the middle of Christmas. We’ll sort this out next week (I hope!)
The boat looked terrific, and when I was on board all I could think about was how great it would be to head out to sea. Tomorrow I’ll be back on the boat. I have a few projects I want to get done.
One nice piece of news: Some other Nordhavn owners, who were on the Fubar, are at Barra Navidad now. I asked them to check on my slip reservation, and they confirmed that I have space reserved at the marina. We’ll be crossing to Mazatlan around Jan 22nd, then explore Puerta Vallarta, and into Barra sometime around Feb 1st.
