As we head back to our wild block of land in Vanuatu, we’re faced with one of the more complicated realities of what we’ve actually bought into.
This week, we begin navigating the recent history of this block of land, meeting members of the local village, and trying to understand the situation with as much care and respect as possible. It’s one of those moments where the dream of building an off-grid life meets the real world… and that means some very big conversations.
